O mnie 🇵🇱
Nazywam się Krystian Kostow. Mam 24 lata. Pochodzę z Warszawy, ale mieszkam, studiuję i pracuję w Krakowie. Na co dzień łączę dwie pasje: aktorstwo i fotografię. Jedno i drugie wzajemnie się przenika - jako aktor doskonale rozumiem emocje i wiem, jak pracować z ludźmi przed obiektywem.
Moja przygoda z fotografią zaczęła się w 2017 roku, od fotografii analogowej. To nauczyło mnie uważności i szacunku do każdego kadru. Z czasem z aparatem trafiałem coraz dalej: od spotkań z przyjaciółmi, przez sesje aktorskie i teatralne, aż po koncerty, reportaż ślubny, plakaty, projekty artystyczne i komercyjne.
Najbliżej mi do portretu, fotografii teatralnej i dokumentalnej. Fascynuje mnie „tu i teraz” - moment, który za chwilę minie, ale dzięki fotografii zostaje na zawsze. W centrum mojej pracy zawsze stoi człowiek: oryginalny, niepowtarzalny, jedyny w swoim rodzaju. Nie wierzę w osoby „niefotogeniczne” - szczerze wierzę, że każdy może zostać sfotografowany dobrze, z szacunkiem i w zgodzie ze sobą.
Dążę do tego, by moje zdjęcia były jak obrazy. Dbam o atmosferę na sesji, etykę pracy i komfort modeli. Chcę, żeby każdy kadr miał głębię, zatrzymywał uwagę, poruszał emocje i opowiadał historię.

My name is Krystian Kostow. I’m 24 years old. I come from Warsaw, but currently live, study, and work in Kraków. I combine two passions: acting and photography. They constantly influence one another - as an actor, I understand emotions and know how to guide people in front of the camera.
My photographic journey began in 2017 with analogue photography. Shooting on film taught me patience and attention to detail. From those first rolls, my work expanded into actor and theatre portraits, documentary projects, concerts, weddings, editorial covers, BTS shoots, and artistic commissions.
I’m most drawn to portraiture, theatre photography, and documentary. What fascinates me is the “here and now” - the fleeting moment that photography can preserve forever. At the heart of my work is always the person: original, unique, one of a kind. I don’t believe in “unphotogenic” people - I consider everyone deserves to be photographed well, with respect and authenticity.
I see my photography as paintings with light. I care about atmosphere, ethics, and the comfort of my models. I want each frame to hold depth, to make the viewer pause, feel, and interpret the story within it.
